FRANKFURT, Germany (AP) -- Police say that the bodies of three infants have been found inside a freezer in the basement of a home in west Germany.

Few details have been released about the grisly find in Olpe, a city in North Rhine-Westphalia. Police did not say how old the infants were or whether they had died before being placed in the basement freezer.

Police plan to release more information about the incident, including whether anyone has been charged, at a news conference later Monday. E-mail to a friend E-mail to a friend
